Bears and all that...
I was putting away my Easter goodies and my TeddyRabbit PICs; I came across my Christmas Bears Pics and thought,  "I must include those so they can keep my TeddyRabbit company on my pages!"
Yes, I know summer is just around the corner but I LOVE Christmas !!!!!and I love my  Teddy Bear
collection.. here are a few photos of our Teddy Bear Christmas Tree!
A TeddyBear Christmas!
2011
Bears
Bears
and more bears
And A Happy Birthday bear...Happy Birthday Jesus....

My flowers got into the I love Christmas act too, this  is some sort of weed presently growing in my garden; I think it looks like snowflakes what a cool looking weed! I hope it keeps coming up, its so pretty!

 I LOVE
 SNOWFLAKES
so pretty...
I love so many different things...life is grand, and has so much to offer,we just have to stop and enjoy the moments ... now who would have thought a mere weed could be as gorgeous as the Christmas flakes in this photo...and that it would be blooming on its own along with all the other spring flowers! TeddyBears, Christmas, and Snowflakes just seem to go together so I'm closing this page with the pretty weed photo and the photo of the Christmas decorations!
See you next time ...  Arita.... :-)

Before storing my Easter goodies till next year...I want to share a few Easter images... :-)
(it rained, so we did not get to do all that we had planned, but it still turned out to be a nice time)
and I got to spend time with my Grans and my Lovies on Saturday, so all went good!

Pictures of Shay Bluehat ..... our new Garden Gnomie!

Peek a boo ...
                 and of  Teddy Rabbit

                   Teddy Rabbit sporting
Bunny Ears and a Bunny Tail ....
The following photos were made using (PicHacks Funny Face Maker) it states that:

If you want to see how symmetrical your face is to use a forward facing picture with your head held perfectly straight. In placing the midline to try to position it directly in the middle of the nose and that if  you want funny results to experiment with different angles, tilted heads, and placing the midline in different places, to play around with it, and to have fun. I did ... and I had FUN :-D

I reloaded my rose photos and was able to come to my ring around the rosie effects quickly and easily, with no cutting and pasting or resizing came out great! Then came the real fun ... our photos turned out looking really funny I LOVE IT!!!!

this...a friend had sent me this site link a while back (thanks R.B.) and I had misplaced it... I'm so happy to have found it again!

Paste link on your browser and have fun!

Ring around the Rosie..

I had fun with this rose photo the blooms on my plant reminded me of half of a ring ...  soooo

a little copy and paste and reversal of the curve and Viola!

a bit more of cut and paste and now a floral heart ...

Yep ... I had fun!!!!

OK perhaps spending too much time on these fun computer programs!
Grinning here... :-D

Easter 2012

Our children gifted us with a new rose bush; I can hardly wait to get it into the ground! It has lots of lemon yellow blooms and is going to fit in perfectly with all the rest of our flowers!  We had a yellow rose bush that bloomed each year around this time. This year it did not bloom...it is one of our plants that did not survive last summer's intense heat, so  their gift to us is extra special!
We also purchased several bedding plants all kinds and hues!  There was a big sale going on at one of our local flower nurseries this past weekend, and we picked out a nice selection of new plants
for our flower gardens. My Honeybear selected a rosebush that is described as being blue violet on the package! Sounds like will be real pretty ... we have a pale lavender rose bush that is gorgeous, but the blue violet one ... can hardly wait to see its blooms.

Last but not least, we purchased the cutest little blue hatted statue, and dubbed the little Gnome as
Shay Bluehat ...

What is a Gnome  (paste on your browser sites list all sorts of interesting stuff!  I looked into others and read about the pronunciation...Nome silent G, or Ga Nome with the G sounding...I am like HEY, why not Grome (would be Gro for GROW an ME for meeee, growmeee......
:-D he is in the garden after all! For more interesting facts just paste Gnome on your browsers and have fun; lots of neat sites to look into, found some games too :-)

I had to include a photo of our Jackrabbit...I say our because he visited our yard with his wife and  four bunny children for about five years, later we would just see the smaller bunnies. They grew into  adults and eventually all  stopped visiting ... perhaps they have all gone to Rabbit heaven...but I like to think they are visiting other gardens, and bringing lots of smiles with their antics...they were a breath of sunshine each time that they appeared, and they never destroyed our garden.

We fed them carrots and other vegetables, and they would take naps under shady plants while we moved around the yard...they were wild rabbits but you would not have guessed it, they were so much fun to watch.
I hope everyone had a Blessed Easter weekend ours was really nice. We visited with our Children and Grans, we spent a bit of time with my Mother and with one of my Sisters, then on Sunday we attended church services...it was a little rainy, but otherwise turned out OK....except missed hunting color
Easter Eggs outside with the Granbabies cause of the rain...but our plants enjoyed their showers...
till next time ... Blessings

Our florals are all coming in nicely this year...alas so are the weeds, so today have been working on our flowerbeds....

Looking Good!!! :-)

View from  inside window....pink roses white, and yellow Irises....

and outside on left side of the yard...pink small roses in foreground and very large pink roses in background....

At very back of the yard and to the right are hot pink rose shrubs...

and to the right is an empty swing set waiting for some wonderful little Grands to come and play...I hope we don't get rain this weekend....

My "Honeybear" and co-gardener in our garden of floral delights!!!!!

Happy Easter 2012

till next time...Arita

After the rain...

I thought the hard rain might have damaged the flowers in our garden, but surprisingly they looked even prettier than usual, the raindrops on their velvety petals looked like glistening diamonds, the       sight that met my eyes was amazing, each flower seemed prettier than the one before, as if each were saying look at me...no look at me....

The yellow rose so lovely....

The red rose had  a large raindrop nestled in its center and looked so pretty....

The salmon yellow tinged bud was  gorgeous with it's coat of glistening raindrops resting upon the petals....

Another gorgeous yellow rosebud caressed by glistening raindrops....I thought my roses were impressive dry,  but covered in raindrops.. GORGEOUS....
